Aam Aadmi Party leader Nonu Naik, AAP vice president Adv Pratima Coutinho and AAP campaign committee member Ritesh Chodankar along with AAP ground team held a door-to-door campaign in Priol, Navelim and Porvorim respectively.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Nonu Naik covered around 200 houses during his door-to-door campaign in Priol constituency. He said, “There are a lot of issues faced by the people of Priol constituency. Priol constituency has not experienced political or social change and the present and the former MLA never worked on this. Both the MLAs are engaged to instigate quarrel among the people. I am confident that this time AAP will win the election”.

“The residents of Navelim are fed up with the BJP and Congress. They are fed up of corruption and nepotism that has crept into the creation of jobs in Goa” said Advocate Pratima Coutinho, AAP Goa Vice President.

“The BJP government failed at creating enough jobs, due to which Navelim is reeling under huge unemployment. Even during the Pandemic, no help was provided by the local government. This area which predominantly has a lot of seafarers, who were left high and dry during the lockdown”, she said.

“The Aam Aadmi Party in Goa has been aggressively reaching out to the grassroots where Goans are welcoming the Kejriwal model as the only alternative in Goa for the future. Goan youth are tired of being cheated of jobs and are excited that AAP will bring transparency to the recruitment process”, she added.

AAP campaign committee member Ritesh Chodankar said, “we have been receiving overwhelming response for our door-to-door campaign, and on Porvorim people’s demand we have opened second office in Socorro area recently”.

He further said, “the people from Porvorim constituency is approaching us with various issues. People are finding difficulty to obtain certain medical services. People who are residing here for more than 10-12 years haven’t received house number yet. This is the major issue in the constituency”.
