AFTER MY DEMAND TO “WALK THE TALK’ ON COVID MANAGEMENT, TODAY CHIEF MINISTER WALKS WITH HORDES OF PEOPLE – DIGAMBAR KAMAT

Margao – Two days back, I had demanded that Chief Minister must Walk the Talk on handling & managment of COVID19. Shockingly, today entire Goa saw Dr. Pramod Sawant walking with Hordes of People after the inauguration of bridge in his home constituency Sankhali. Was he spreading awareness of Social Distancing? questioned Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat.

This is how BJP Government responds to concerns raised by Opposition Party’s MLA’s in Goa stated Digambar Kamat.

It is shocking to see hundreds of people walking on the bridge along with the Chief Minister sending Social Distancing norms for a toss. I demand that authorities must book all those who violated the Section 144 imposed in the State Digambar Kamat urged.

When Chief Minister himself violates restrictions imposed under Section 144 by his own government, it sends a wrong signal to the public. I appeal to all elected representatives to set examples for others Digambar Kamat said.

People are gasping for Oxygen. Concerns are raised on availability of additional oxygen requirement in the days ahead. Beds in hospitals are full and people are made to run to get medicines. Unfortunately, BJP is still in the mode of gala Inaugurations and Celebrations stated Digambar Kamat.

What i and the people of Goa expected was Action Plan from the Government on handling and management of Covid pandemic and provide maximum relief to the Goans. Sadly, BJP Government has no sensitivity left to mininise the hardhips of people Digambar Kamat said.
