Aam Aadmi Party candidate Alina Saldanha urged Goans on Tuesday not to waste their valuable votes on the Congress, saying that voting for the Congress would mean supporting the BJP.
Salanha stated that the life of a Congress MLA is to first join the Congress, then win the election, and then get sold to the BJP. She said, “We have seen this in so many states, and Congress always assisted the BJP in forming government”.
Adding she said, “Any vote for the Congress or any other party means a vote for the BJP. If Congress wins even 10-12 seats in the election, then they will be sold off to the BJP. Therefore, don’t waste your vote by voting for Congress or any other independent candidate”.
She said, “Voting for AAP means a monetary benefit of rupees 10 lakh per family over the period of 5 years. Voting for AAP means voting for Goa’s development which includes schools, hospitals, women empowerment and flourishing businesses. AAP is sure of winning a large number of seats and is the only party that can bring development to Goa”.
“Today, whatever is being done in Delhi is absolutely benefit the common people. This has to be the goal of every government to ensure the upliftment of the common citizen. AAP’s education infrastructure and Mohalla clinics in every wards caters the the common people. Similarly, if AAP elected to power it will focus on human development along with infrastructure development”, she added.
