The Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated a training program for the Junior Scale Officers ( Dy. SP ) and also accorded farewell to those who have completed the training program for the Junior Scale Officers of Goa Civil Service at GIPARD old Goa today.

The Chief Minister while addressing said that the Government has put forth before the people the concept of Swayamurn Goa. To accomplish this objective, the Government has geared up its machinery and appointed Government officials as Swayamurna Mitras to work on the objective of Swyampurna Goa.

He said Swyampurn Mitras have worked with whole heart dedication and thereby helping the needy people by seeking help from CSR bodies. Those trainees who have undergone training should contribute to achieving the goal of Swayampurn Goa. This is the right time when we commit to continue in giving our best in achieving to make the State all Swayampurn when our Nation celebrating platinum Jubilee of India’s Independence and Sixty years of Goa Liberation we have to work to deliver, he remarked.

We will be able to acquire human development if we pay personal attention. You(officers) are one who knows everything so you can do well at your best he expressed. He complimented those who have completed their training and the officers who will undergo training.

Chief Secretary Shri Parimal Rai IAS in his address said that this training has brought them to the center to focus on the cause they have to serve. The training acquired here would help them to balance while working and get them back to the center. Do not neglect their family, health, and their values, and do not deviate from the law he urged. As we are the servants of the public we have to do everything that is good. Need to work with integrity, neutrality anonymity, and ensure that law is adhered.  You should be capable to work with mission, vision, far sightedness and deliver goods which are expected of every Government official. We are here to help the people deliver justice to people. Leave your mark in whatever you deal, he added. 

Congratulating those who have completed their training and who are undergoing training, The Chief Secretary advised the participants to work as a team without any preconceived notion. Try to learn from each other, he added

Director-General of Police Shri Mukesh Kumar Meena IPS appreciated GIPARD for imparting wonderful training. This training is very important to learn administrative work. The government provides manpower to maintain law and order. He advised them to know their role, duty, and work to deliver well. He congratulated all those who have completed their training and whose training is commencing from today.

Deputy Collector South, Smt Roshell Fernandes, a Junior Scale Officer sharing her experience said it was an important training wherein she has acquired knowledge of various subjects like laws, service matters, accounts, budget, finance, administration. Apart from this, the training has also focused on building up their Self-confidence, Public speaking their physical and spiritual well-being as well. She said the Knowledge acquired would help to do justice to their work during their service career she reiterated.

Jt. Secretary, Personal, Smt. Meghana Shetgaonkar, Director GIPARD Shri Sanjay Gihar IAS, Director Department of IT Smt Ankita Anand IAS, Asst. Director GIPARD Smt Seema Fernandes and others were present on the occasion.
