 The Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated various developmental projects which included a Cycle track and its illumination at Chopdem Junction to Morjim for a cost of 5.70 Crores during his day long tour in Mandrem Constituency, yesterday.

  He also laid foundation stone for underground cabling at Kerim He inaugurated footpath and illumination along MDR-18 from Harmal TITO to Bhumika Middle School at Palyem for a cost of Rs 4.3 crores which will provide with 1.5 m wide pathway, Masonary seating arrangements, C.I. benches and illumination of pathways with decorative poles.

Dr. Sawant also inaugurated beautification of Shree Sadguru Janardan Maharaj Math at Marathwada Mandrem, project cost of which is 1.02 crore, inclusive of Paved area around temples, Sitting Area, illumination around temple periphery, entrance arch and landscaping.The other developmental projects which were inaugurated by the Chief Minister Dr. Sawant were 11KVA Feeder Power Cable at Mandrem.

The work of beautification provided with basic facilities and illumination of Sapteshwar Bhagawati Mandir at Mandrem at a cost of Rs.2.22 crore which consists of toilet block with resting rooms for pilgrims, paved area around temples, gates, drinking water fountain and landscaping and Dandoswada Mandrem was also inaugurated by  the Chief Minister.

During his tour to village Parcem the Chief Minister inaugurated and handover Bhagawati Temple project built at the cost of Rs 3.33 Crores comprising of facilities like entrance arch, kids play area, nagarkhana, parking for cars and 2 wheelers, stage along with green room and toilets, paved area around temples, illumination of temple and surroundings, toilet block and landscaping.

The Chief Minister addressing the meeting at Harmal said that the projects which are underway will be completed in the stipulated time period.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Chairman GTDC Shri Dayanand Sopte, ZP Member Shri Arun Bankhar, MD GTDC Shri Nikhil Desai, Gen. Manager Shri Dipak Narvekar besides others.
