Chief Minister, Dr.Pramod Sawant today launched NISTHA 3.0 (FLN) training programme for Pre-primary and Primary teachers which will be conducted by District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) in collaboration with Directorate of Education, SCERT Goa and Goa Samagra Shiksha at a programme held at Secretariat, Porvorim.

          Chief Minister Dr.Sawant said that the NISTHA 3.0 training programme will upgrade teaching skills of teachers attributing overall enhancement of educational structure at primary level. He  lauded the efforts made by the Education Department and teachers in the State towards implementing the training programme.

          NISTHA 3.0 training will be  conducted online through DIKSHA App or DIKSHA PORTAL from October 1, 2021. The training is mandatory for all teachers teaching Pre-Primary to Primary up to IV Std. Around 5602 teachers will be covered for the training in the Academic year 2021-22.

          Every month upto March 2022 two courses will be made available to teachers. Teachers need to complete the full course and should secure minimum 70% marks in each course.

Director, Education Shri Bhushan Savaikar, SCERT Director, Shri Nagraj Honnekeri and  Principal DIET, Shri. Devidas Kudav was present on the occasion.
