Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant paid extensive visit to Mayem Constituency by taking blessings of Lairai Aae at Shirgao today.
At the meeting held at Shirgao temple Hall, he interacted with people and asked the villagers to share their difficulties and assured to solve them in coming days.  Chief Minister directed Deputy Collector, Shri Deepak Vaigankar to look into their matter and solve the problem. Our government works on Antyodaya principle, irrespective of caste, religion and creed, he added.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant laid a foundation stone for the Scheme of improvement of water supply in Kelbaiwada, Chimulwada and Poira, Mayem constituency. Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister said Government is working to serve the last citizen of the society. We have witnessed critical situations like Covid 19 Pandamic, tauktae cyclone and recent flood during which time Government has supported every citizen of the State. While facing this pandemic government have continued to undertake Infrastructure development as well as human development, he said.
Later, Dr Sawant innaugrated Market Complex cum Community hall at Village Panchayat Chodan under Deendayal Panchayat Raj Infrastructure Development ( Golden jubilee) Scheme. The complex has new community hall, which can cater to a gathering of 300 people which can be used for various functions, changing rooms, dining area and toilet facility. The lower ground floor and ground floor constitutes of 19 Shops which will generate revenue to the panchayat. 
Dr Sawant addressing the gathering said Goa is the only State which have given more importance for daily farming, Agriculture and the government have given more priority to farmers n as a result Goa has started exporting vegetables in Goa he added.  He urged everyone to start working on village development with the help of Swayampurna Mitra. Chief Minister also informed about the Known Your Scheme and appealed to everyone to make awareness about the government facilities.
Chief Minister also held review meeting with Swayampurna Mitra of Mayem Constituency and took review of the various projects initiated. He said Swayampurna Mitra has to implement in all the Panchayat and directed all the Mitra’s to make awareness about the Schemes provided by Government.
At his visit to Narvem, Chief Minister laid a foundation stone of retaining wall for Stantadurga temple at Gaonkarwada Pilgao.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by MLA, Mayem, Shri Praveen Zantye, ZP members, Sarpanch, panch Members and other government officers during his visit across Mayem constituency.
