CONGRESS PARTY TO PROTEST AGAINST FUEL PRICE HIKE.
Margao: Congress Party has organized protests on Friday 11th June 2021 all across the Country against the rising fuel prices. Goa Pradesh Congress Committee will participate in the nationwide agitation by organising protests at various Petrol Pumps in all the forty Constituencies informed Congress Legislature Party Leader Digambar Kamat.
All the forty Congress Block Committees, both District Committee, Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, Seva Dal, NSUI will participate in the protests along with GPCC Office bearers, MLA’s, MP and other Congress functionaries stated Digambar Kamat.
BJP Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put additional burden on the people when they are already under financial crises due to Covid Pandemic. It is shocking that the fuel prices in India have reached almost Rs. 100 per litre when the Global Crude Oil prices are at all-time low. This shows the insensitive approach of the BJP Government towards the people said Digambar Kamat.
Margao Block Congress Committee will protest at the Petrol Pump near Margao Municipal Garden at 11.00 am informed Block President Gopal Naik.
Congress Party has become the voice of the people and have organized these Nationwide protests. I appeal to the people to participate in the protests and condemn the act of the BJP Government said Digambar Kamat.
