I am happy that the Essay Competition organized by Congress Party received overwhelming response from the students. Congress Party will take ideas from the students for preparing road map of good Governance after coming to power in 2022 stated AICC Incharge Dinesh Rao at the Goa Revolution Day function at Margao today.
Former Union Minister Eduardo Faleiro, AICC Observer for Goa Prakash Rathod, GPCC President Girish Chodankar and Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat were present on the dais.
Our freedom fighters sacrificed everything and had to undergo lot of sufferings in the Goa Liberation Movement. We all must remember their sacrifice and respect the families of the freedom fighters. I am happy that the Congress Party organized this function today remembering the historic Goa Revolution Day. I appeal to each Goan to live upto the aspirations of our freedom fighters stated former Union Minister Eduardo Faleiro.
The time has come for Goa to start a new Revolution to send home the insensitive, irresponsible and failed BJP Government. I appeal to the People of Goa to strongly support the Congress Party for protecting the Identity of Goa stated Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat.
GPCC President Girish Chodankar presented the Book written by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia to the dignitaries. The Prize Distribution of the Essay Competition was held at the hands of all the Congress Leaders. GPCC Vice- President M.K. Shaikh proposed Vote of thanks while Spokesperson Pallavi Bhagat Compeered the function.
