With the testing positive of 24 students at the BITS Pilani campus, a COVID-19 Cluster has been identified. The first case was found on 25 March at the institute in Sancoale, Zuarinagar. This was followed by a single day addition of 9 cases. All are isolated in separate room on campus and show mild signs of the virus without complications or need for hosptilization.
All symptomatic cases are being tested, including those in the first line of contact. All measures by the Directorate of Health Services have been in accordance to the national protocols.
