Rotary Club of Porvorim celebrating 25 years great service to the society in and around Porvorim. Creating awareness towards Breast and cervical cancer and financial assistance to the patients. Providing financial help to needy students and also we have adopted schools for supporting with infrastructure and assistance time to time under Happy School scheme. Conducting Menstrual Health awareness lectures and distribution of Sanitary pads in support through CSR. In addition, health camp for general public and senior citizens in particular. Conducting of regular EYE Camps and distribution of spectacles for needy.
Under the project “Clean Drinking Water for all” the survey of wells under the jurisdiction of Chapora Village panchayat is being carried out and the solution shall be provided with the concerned authority so that underutilized wells can be retained.
To celebrate the 25th years of service, the club is organizing “Deepotsav” an Eco-friendly Akash kandil and Rangoli Competition on 5th November from 7pm to 9pm at Service Road, opposite Delfinos, Porvorim, Goa. For more details and registration call 7350008054
