Dy CM KAVLEKAR ASSURES ALL POSSIBLE HELP TO QUEPEM PHC’S


Dy CM Kavlekar assured to  provide all necessary aid to the PHC’s in Quepem taluka – be it salaries to data entry operators, if required, so that there is no break in the services provided to citizens specially for COVID-19 related works.
Shri Kavlekar assured this while reviewing the preparedness of Quepem against COVID-19 at a meeting with Dy Collector, Mamlatdar, B.D.O., Chief Officer of Municipality, Health Officers, Police, Sanitary Inspectors and newly elected Councillors of Quepem Municipality at Quepem today. 
The Health officers of Balli PHC Dr Tulsimamta Kakodkar and PHC Quepem, Dr Lorna Fernandez explained their difficulties in implementing COVID-19 protocols effectively, to which Dy C.M. called up Director Health services for an immediate resolution. 
Shri Kawlekar urged upon the people of Quepem to follow the COVID-19 protocols during the lockdown period and appealed to them not to venture out unnecessarily. Though the shops and establishments are open, he requested not to unnecessarily crowd and endanger the lives of others.
Dy Collector Nilesh Dhaigodkar; Mamlatdar of Quepem Laxmikant Desai; Chief Officer of QMC Madhu Narvekar; PI Quepem Deepak Pednekar; Councillors of QMC Filu D’costa, Suchita Shirvaikar, Deepali Naik, Amol Kanekar and William Rodrigues were present for the meeting.
