The Aam Aadmi Party dissolved its Goa working committee on Monday as it prepares for a new stage of its journey following the 2022 assembly elections.
AAP Delhi MLA and AAP Goa Unit incharge Atishi announced the party’s decision, saying the new state working committee for Goa will be “reorganised soon”.
The AAP did well during the last Goa assembly election, securing two seats. It is the excellent work of the AAP that has led to the AAP winning two seats in Benaulim and Velim.
“With expansion of the party in mind, we are formally dissolving the all existing organisation structures of the party in the state and will constitute a new committee to bring well-meaning and like-minded people into the party’s fold,” said Atishi.
