NCC wing of Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi celebrated 75th Independence Day “Aazadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” in the Campus of GEC on August 15. 

Dr. Rajesh Lohani, Principal of Goa Engineering College hoisted the national flag. On the auspicious occasion Dr Lohani felicitated staff members in recognition to their services rendered.

To mark the celebration GEC organised various programmes which includes tree plantation drive within the campus of College besides “Fit India Run 2.0” coordinated by Prof. Ganesh Hegde.

Dr. Sandesh Desai, Sports Incharge, Lieutenant Anand Naik, Associate NCC Officer, Shri Sagar Naik, PTI, Dr. Milind Sakhardande, Professor Purti Savardekar, Shri Surendra Sonadand, Shri Gajanan Sawant among others who were felicitated on the occasion, as informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
