GOVERNMENT TO RECRUIT 200 TO 250 POLICE PERSONNEL – CM

The Police Department has a great role in decreasing the crime Rate in the State. We will initiate strict action against the criminals said Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant after inaugurating the new building of  Colvale  Police Station today.

Speaking as Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant appreciated the role of police during Covid-19 outbreak. He said the Government has put in great efforts to manage the critical situation of Covid Pandemic. During this critical time the Home Department has played a great role for the betterment of Goa, he added. The Chief Minister further informed that the government has already advertised 940 vacancies in the Police Department and more 200-250 vacancies will be advertised shortly and we ensure that all posts are filled within six months; the Goa Government will create a new Revolution in every field for the development of Goa.

        Shri Nilkhant Halankar MLA; Shri Mukesh Kumar DGP North Goa Collector Shri Ajit Roy;  Shri Paramaditya  IGP, Superintendent of Police, North Goa Shri Shobhit Saxena, , Shri Rajesh Kumar IGP, ZP Member Smt Diksha Kandolkar, Deputy Sarpanch Smt Phadte were amongst those who attended the function.

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant informed that on this   auspicious Goa  revolution Day the Goa Government has inaugurated two new police station buildings in the State also the Maina Curtorim   Police station which were located in Margao has shifted today at Curtorim.  The Government has put all efforts  to create the requisite infrastructure in the State. In the education field, the Government has taken the initiative of starting coding and robotics from today, he added.

Shri Nilkhant  Halankar  MLA in his address said that in these two years the Chief Minister has undertaken various infrastructure  development, and I would like to thank the Chief Minister for fulfilling our wish to build a new Police Station Building in Colvale .
