Governor of Goa, Shri. P.S. Sreedharan Pillai in presence of his spouse Smt Rita S. Pillai felicitated 90 years old Freedom Fighter Smt Libia Lobo Sardessai today at Raj Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion Governor said on this historical day of Goa Revolution Day Raj Bhavan has a distinguished presence of senior most Freedom Fighter of Goa. Raj Bhavan has a wonderful tradition to felicitate eminent personalities of Goa from various walks of life he said and highlighlited the bravery work done by freedom fighter Smt Libia Lobo Sardessai to liberate Goa from Portuguese.
Shri Pillai informed that Dr Ram Manohar Lohia was the top most political leaders as well as the top most English and Hindi speaker. Highlighting the Swarajya concept he said it’s our duty to serve the people with full dedication.
