Government is in process to promote development of the Dharbandora taluka. It intends to set up an educational institution there by boosting over all growth of Dharbandora stated Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today.
He was speaking at a programme held for distribution of sanction orders of compensation to flood affected people from Dharbandora taluka at Dharbandora.
Speaking further Chief Minister Dr. Sawant assured that, Government will initiate various projects for further prosperity of the Dharbandora taluka and reiterated Government’s commitment to help mining affected people in the area.
On the occasion Chief Minister Dr. Sawant felicitated meritorious students of various schools in Dharbandora taluka. Government also issued 83 sanction order to flood affected people in the taluka.
Chief Minister further informed that Goa is the first State to help COVID victim families there by alloting compensation of two lacs Rupees to each COVID victim family. CM also informed that Government has started exgratia scheme to help people in traditional occupation. The scheme provides five thousand rupees monetory help for such affected locals.
Minister for PWD Shri. Deepak Pauskar lauded the achievements of the Government by Dr. Sawant. He said that Goa will achieve all round development by successful implementation of Swayampurna Goa movement.
Commissioner for NRI, Adv. Narendra Sawaikar, M. P. Rajyasabha Shri. Vinay Tendulkar, EX MLA Shri. Ganesh Gaonkar, Additional Collector, Shri. Ajit Panchwad, South Goa ZP Chairman Smt. Suvarna Tendulkar and others were present on the occasion.
