Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, who also holds the education portfolio, informed that the govt will be thinking of implementing the new education policy in the state from this academic year as report regarding the same will be submitted within five days and syllabus for nursery, lower kg and upper kg are already being prepared and kept ready. Speaking to the media, after having meeting with education officials to improve educational standards in the state, Sawant raised concern about the national achievement survey report 20-21 wherein in Maths the state is below the national average and further said that in order to come out with the solution for the same, teachers should be full-time teachers. Sawant also said that henceforth, teachers’ recruitment will be done by implementing the central civil services (CCS) conduct rules in all schools.
