HC SAYS DELAY IN INSTALLING TAXI METRES ARE IN CONTEMPT OF COURT

In a significant judgment, the High Court on Friday passed an order asking the Goa government to make Budgetary provisions for immediate installation & implementation of Taxi meters in Goa within 15 days. “There have been multiple delays on this issue which are in contempt of the court order,” High Court observed. The court said it would review the issue of digital meters implementation in June 2021.
