
Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant called upon the youths to venture into hospitality sector and make their career as it has a very better opportunities to grow as an individual in different fields across the Globe. He said, 80% of the employees in this sector are outsiders.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant was speaking after inaugurating a Seminar on Vocational Guidance in Hospitality Services organized by Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali today.
Present on the occassion were Shri Gopal Surlakar, Z. P. Member; Shri Vincent Ramose, Sr.Vice President, Indian Hotels Company Limited; Shri Manoj Patil and others.
To boost up the talents of students from rural areas such type of seminars play a vital role, he said and added that more such seminars will be organised in various parts of the State.
Underscoring the importance of mining sector in the State, Chief Minister said, hospitality sector has wide career openings in Goa after mining. Chief Minister underlined the importance of this sector to make a bright career in this sector and informed about the various opportunities that exists in the State.
