  3. Is it right to disturb the agricultural development? – Rajendra Kakodkar, Trinamool Congress

Sanguem politicians and activists instigated by the former are opposing the ongoing agricultural development projects. Is it right to disturb the agricultural development? Why oppose for the sake of opposing? BJP policy has all along been of opposing agriculture development and conspiring for “cement” development which provides them commission. The locals of Canacona and Melawali have already taught them lessons; yet some are forgetting in turns. It is because of this policy that the Sanjeevani Sugar Factory is closed. Providing land or donation for IITs is the duty of people who benefit from the pride they derive from IITs. Personally, I too derive pride from IIT in Goa and is ready to contribute my share. All the supporters must be ready to put their monies where their mouths are. Imposing individual views on those who are not proud is undemocratic. BJP leaders are trying to rob only poor farmers who lose lands.
