
The 61th Anniversary of the Liberation of the State of Goa will be celebrated by the Government of Goa on Monday , December 19, 2022. The State level Flag hoisting ceremony will be held at Goa University Ground (Helipad Area) Taleigao, Goa
The Chief Minister, Speaker, Ministers, Leader of Opposition, Judges of High Court, Ld. Advocate General and other dignitaries will be attending the celebration.
The Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant will inspect the parade & return to the dais which will be followed by March-Past. The Chief Minister will address the gathering.
Chief Minister will be received by Shri. Atanasio Monserrate , Minister for Revenue, Chief Secretary & Director General of Police. The National Flag will be unfurled with the Police Band playing the National Anthem & the Police Guard of honour giving the National Salute.
There will be a presentation of the Cultural Programme, National Integration Songs, Mass P. T. Drill, and singing of the National Anthem.
The flag hoisting ceremony will be also performed at various Taluka Headquarters at the hands of Ministers/MLA’s at 09.15 a.m – At Margao, the ceremony will be held at the hands of Minister for PWD Shri Nilesh Cabral ; Minister for Agriculture , Shri Ravi Naik will hoist the flag at Ponda, Minister for Tourism, Shri. Rohan Khaunte will hoist the flag at Mapusa; Minister for Transport, Shri. Mauvin Godinho will hoist the flag at Vasco; Minister for Power, Shri. Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar will hoist the flag at Canacona, Minister for Fisheries, Shri. Nilkhanth Halarnkar will hoist the flag at Pernem, Smt Deviya Rane MLA ( Poriem) will hoist the flag at Valpoi, Minister for Social Welfare Shri. Subhash Phal Dessai will hoist the flag at Sanguem; Minister for Sports, Shri. Govind Gaude will hoist the flag at Quepem Shri. Premendra Shet MLA( Mayem) will hoist the flag at Bicholim and Minister for Water Resources Shri. Subhash Shirodkar will hoist the flag at Dharbandora.
