NEGATIVE CERTIFICATE MANDATORY FOR ENTERING THE STATE OF GOA

The State Government has made it mandatory to possess a negative RT-PCR test report for entering the State of Goa, a test for which is done a maximum of 72 hours before seeking entry into Goa.  The District Magistrate has ordered the checking of the Covid Negative Certificate before entering the State of Goa. 

It is clarified that for the purposes of aforesaid order Covid Negative Certificate shall mean RT-PCR/ True Nat/CBNAAT, Rapid Antigen Test or any other test as approved by ICMR

It may be informed that the Orders are as per the direction of the Hon’ble High Court in public interest litigation wherein the State administration shall ensure that no person who does not possess a Covid negative certificate based on a test done a maximum of 72 hours before seeking entry into Goa, will be permitted to enter into Goa, as informed by Information and Publicity Department.
