ONE CAUGHT FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF GANJA

    A narcotic raid has been conducted near Dongorpur junction, Porbowado Calangute Bardez Goa by Calangute Police Station team headed by PSI Rajaram Bagkar, wherein accused person namely Imran Hange s/o Mehboob Hange, age 23 years r/o near Rudy Bar, Murdawado Saligao Bardez Goa was found in an illegal possession Ganja weighing 3 Kg, all worth Rs. 3,00,000/- approximately. 

Credible information was received by Calangute Police Station from the sources that one male person wearing black colour t-shirt and black colour pant will be coming to deliver narcotic drug to his prospective customer today i.e. on 15.04.2022 between 18.30 hrs to 19.00 hrs at Dongorpur junction, Porbowado Calangute Bardez Goa with his Royal Enfield bike and that said male person is likely to leave the place after disposing off the said contraband. Accordingly a raid was conducted in presence of panchas and above narcotic drugs was seized. The accused is being remanded to Police Custody in-order to find out the source of above narcotic drugs.

    A complaint regarding illegal possession of narcotic drugs was filed by PSI Rajaram Bagkar of Calangute P.S. after conducting a raid upon which LPSI Miss Reema Naik has registered the offence under NDPS Act 1985. 

    Further investigation is in progress under the Supervision of PI Shri Laxi Amonkar of Calangute Police Station under the overall Supervision of SDPO Porvorim, Vishwesh Karpe and SP North, Shobhit Saksena, IPS.
