PRIME MEDIA’s DEEP UTSAV UNDER SWAYAMPURNA GOA GETS FABULOUS RESPONSE

PANAJI: Prime Media Goa’s Deep Utsav 2020 competition received overwhelming response on Saturday.

Participants displayed their fabulous creations of Akash Kandils in mesmerising colours and variations. All akash kandils were made from eco-friendly material and took months of pain staking work.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Media TV Editor Sandeep Kerkar thanked all the participants for participating in the competition enthusiastically and exhibiting their skills.

Kerkar also thanked the Department of Information and Publicity and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for providing support under `Atmanirbhar Swayampurn Goa’ scheme. 

Naguesh Sardesai, art teacher from Government High School, Vasco and Shrikrishna Naik, art teacher of Government High School, Tivim were the judges for the competition.

The contest was organised in association with Swayampurna Goa and Directorate of Information and Publicity, Panaji.

The participants also expressed their views and narrated their experiences in making eco-friendly Akash Kandils.

All the winners will be awarded prizes at a function to be held soon.
