Nimrit Kaur Pasricha from Goa has qualified for Asian Junior Squash Championship to be held in Pataya, Thailand from 15 – 19 June 2022. Daughter of Commander Mandeep Singh and Dr Harpreet Pasricha, Nimrit was shortlisted to represent India in the Under-13 Category after week-long trials held by Squash Racket Federation of India at Indian Squash Academy, Chennai.  Nimrit has been playing squash from the age of 8, and has held a national ranking of number 2 in Under 11 category.

Training under her coach Rehman Hubli at Naval Officers Institute (Goa), Nimrit has participated in 17 National level tournaments and two state level events. She has won the Goa State title in Under-9 and Under-11 Championships in 2018 and 2019 respectively. A Class 8 student at Navy Children School (Goa), Nimrit is presently ranked 6th in Asian Junior Girls rankings.
