Union leader Puti Gaonkar has slammed Health Minister Vishwajit Rane for not clearing the file pertaining to the reopening of rural dispensaries for workers, which were closed as doctors are put on covid duty. He said he had sent a memorandum to Chief Minister to keep the dispensaries open at least 3 days a week, but vishwajit has not approved the file. Puti also slammed Vishwajit for appointing Sodexo to supply food to GMC which costs the government Rs 15 to 16 crores, while earlier the food contract was for Rs 5 to 6 crores. He also charged vishwajit for not giving orders to Goa antibiotics such that its pharmacy at GMC was virtually closed and Vishwajit is promoting Wellness Pharmacy.
