  3. RAJIV GANDHI WAS ARCHITECT OF INDIA’S TECH REVOLUTION: PATKAR

Goa Pradesh Congress commemorated the 31st death anniversary of the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on Saturday. They paid their tributes at this statue inside the Goa Medical College in Bambolim, followed by a function at the Congress house in Panjim. Senior leaders MP Francisco Sardinha, LoP Michael Lobo and other spoke on the occasion. GPCC President, Amit Patkar hailed the late PM for his contribution to the tech field. He said, “BJP can take full advantage of social media today because of Rajiv Gandhi’s efforts in ushering a technology revolution. He is the Architect of India’s Tech Movement.” He called the opposition to appreciate the foundation he built instead of criticizing the legacy.

Lobo highlighted the reforms in education and the laid foundation for a strong, vibrant India. “He laid the foundation for the youth to come up and do something. We can’t forget his contribution to Goa. We have to unite together,” he said.
