  3. RULES TO BE IN PLACE FOR SIMPLIFICATION OF PROCEDURES: RANE

TCP Minister Vishwajeet Rane conducted a meeting with the officials from CREDAI, Institute of Engineers, Indian Institute of Architects & CII in the presence of Rajesh Naik (Chief Town Planner) to discuss issues pertaining to TCP and PDA.

“We discussed several aspects of city planning, ways to create transparency in the department, and the possibility of bringing consultants to devise an expansion plan that is in keeping with Goa’s uniqueness. We will be putting some rules and regulations in place to simplify procedures, resolve parking issues, and so on. The team will also work on finding a midway between the demand and supply so that both the industry and the general public are satisfied with the changing guidelines of TCP. I appreciate IIA’s suggestion to create a separate cell in TCP for urban planning in order to enhance the quality of the urban setting in the state of Goa,” Rane said speaking about the meeting.
