Shri. Antonio Vas, MLA, Cortalim Constituency was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function of the Shishu Mela organised by Airway Education Society at Vidyanagar on 21st January,2023.
In his address he said he was happy to attend the function because the school has set high standards and he was a student of Shri. Cherian Kuruvilla when he was studying in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour at Cortalim. He further said that his eldest daughter was also studying in Airway School for some years. He congratulated the school management for imparting quality education to the children of the locality. He further said that he would extend any help possible to the school for the facilities and betterment of the students. Shishu Mela is the competitions organised for the primary schools in Mormugao Taluka. Various competitions viz. Fancy dress, singing, elocution were organised. Deepvihar Primary & St. Andrews Primary school were the joint winners of the competition.
