SWAVALAMBAN YOJANA FOR HANDICRAFTS ARTISAN

Department of Handicraft, Textile and Coir has invited applications from the skilled master artisan to empanel them for conducting need base short term training programme under the scheme ‘Swavalamban Yojana Interested master Artisans having expertise in village handicraft for imparting skill training to the needy unemployed population of the remote villages preferable in their own Taluka, expertise in Pottery Craft, Bamboo Craft, Carpentry and wood carving, Coir spinning yarn and weaving corridor mat, Embroidery and crochet, Kunbi Saree Handloom Weaving, Powerloom Weaving, Dyeing and Painting, Batik printing, Metal Craft, Papier mache, Mater Tailor can apply.
Master Artisans should be able to use freely available natural resources, raw material like coconut husk; coconut leaves, riverside grass, bamboo, wood waste, clay material, cloth waste.
Interested master Artisans may submit their details in the performa for the purpose of empanelment. Full name, Address, Village Panchayat, Age, Contact No, Aadhar Card Number, Expertise in Handicraft type, Certificate of Training if any, Experience in Handicrafts work in each type.

Applications received on or before July 02, 2021 will be placed before the scrutiny Committee to decide on the empanelment of the master Artisan.
