After the announcement by Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal that Goa will get 300 units free power 24/7 if we come to power all of the BJP is shaken. The person who has been impacted the most has been Mr Nilesh Cabrals Goa’s Power Minister. Cabral faces questions on why his ministry was not able to provide free 24/7 power to Goans. Mr Cabral has therefore once again challenged Aam Aadmi Party National Spokesperson Raghav Chadha for a debate between the BJP and Kejriwal Model of governance.Chadha responded today accepting the invitation and asking where and when Cabral would like to debate. It may be remembered that the last time Cabral issued this challenge he went into hiding as Raghav Chadha came down to debate with him. Aam Aadmi Party wonders if Mr Cabral would show up for a debate this time.
“Ever since Shri Arvind Kejriwal has announced that AAP will be giving 24/7 power wirh 300 units free electricity to Goa when we come to power, BJP has been in a tizzy.” Said Raghav Chadha. “Once again Power Minister Nilesh Cabral has invited me for a debate with him on the power issue and I’m happy to accept! I await eagerly the time and location of the debate!” said Chadha.
“Let there be a free and honest debate between the BJP Model that Cabral and Sawant talk about and the Kejriwal Model that has won national & international renown. I think all of Goa is eagerly awaiting this debate” added Chadha.
Last week Arvind Kejriwal in a visit to Goa made a major announcement for Goa stating that when Aam Aadmi Party came to power it will give up to 300 units of free electricity in the state while ensuring 24×7 constant power supply. He also said that all old power bills will be waived off and farmers will get free electricity. Giving substance to his announcement, the AAP National Convenor said that he was not making any hollow election promises, all of this has been implemented in Delhi and that 73% households in Delhi get zero bills and when implemented, 87% people of Goa will get zero bills.
