The Finance Ministry will hold a meeting with Infosys on June 22, 2021 to discuss issues related to the new income tax portal

Senior officials of the Union Ministry of Finance will hold a dialogue meeting with Infosys (Vendors and their team) on June 22, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on issues / problems in the e-filing portal recently launched by the Income Tax Department. Other stakeholders including ICAI members , auditors , advisors and taxpayers will also be a part of this interaction. The new portal has many technical issues / problems which inconvenience the taxpayers. Stakeholders are also invited to submit a written statement regarding the problems / issues encountered in the portal. Representatives of the Infosys team will be present to answer questions ,  explain the problem and get information about the functioning of the portal and solve the problems of the taxpayers.
