Government is keen to implement various benefits such as incentive schemes, ease of doing business, vocal for local for industries with the help of preference purchases from Micro and Small Enterprises of Goa, said Director of Industries, Trade and Commerce, Ms. Swetika Sachan IAS, while speaking on the occasion of World MSME Day organised by Micro Small Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSMEDI) Margao in coordination with Directorate of Industries Trade and Commerce Govt of Goa, in the Conference Hall of MSMEDI Institute, Margao.
The MSMEDI had conducted a 10-days drive for ‘Udyam’ Registration portal of the Ministry of MSME. In the State of Goa, 330 MSME’s were registered on the portal during the period.
On the occasion, Ms. Sachan unveiled the new preferential purchase scheme 2021, which will help Goan MSMEs to get benefits while bidding for various Government tenders such as minimum Earnest Money Deposit and Tender Document Fee of Rs 500 etc.
Ms. Sachan informed about the Umbrella incentive scheme of the central Govt. on the occasion. Sanction letters under the Umbrella scheme of the Directorate were handed over to the beneficiaries.
